Who is responsible
Muvus Technologies Ltd, trading as App29, is the controller of personal data collected through app29.com and our apps. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
Only what each app needs: your email address if you create an account, device and app details, purchase records, settings you choose to sync, and crash reports. Each app lists exactly what it collects under App terms.
What we never do
We do not sell personal data, show advertising based on it, or share it with data brokers.
Why we use it
To provide the app and your account (contract), to handle payments and keep records (legal obligation), to keep our services secure and fix faults (legitimate interests), and for optional usage statistics (consent).
Who processes it for us
Hosting (IONOS), payments (Stripe, and app stores where you buy through them), email (Brevo), network and security (Cloudflare), backups (Backblaze). Each processes data only on our instructions.
Website enquiries and newsletter
What we collect. When you send a project brief, contact message, job application or privacy request on app29.com, we collect what you enter in the form: your name and email address, your message, and for briefs your company, country, project details and any files you attach. For our newsletter and launch alerts we collect only your email address.
Why. To reply to you and, for briefs, to prepare a proposal (steps before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries); to handle privacy requests (legal obligation); and to send the emails you asked for (consent, which you can withdraw with the unsubscribe link in every email).
How long. Project briefs, contact messages and job applications for 24 months; files attached to briefs for 12 months; privacy requests for 6 years; newsletter and launch-alert addresses until you unsubscribe. After that they are deleted automatically.
Who processes it. Brevo sends our emails, Backblaze stores files attached to briefs, and Cloudflare runs our network, Turnstile (the check that protects our forms from spam) and cookieless visit statistics that do not identify you. Each processes data only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Account data while your account is open and up to 30 days after deletion; purchase records for 6 years for tax law; crash reports up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. Most of this is available in each app. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. Where an app has kids profiles, they are created and controlled by the account holder.
