App design for phones, tablets, TVs and the web
Our app design work covers every screen your product needs, on phone, tablet, TV and the web. We turn your idea into clickable prototypes and test them with real people, so you can see and change the product before anything is built.
Design for every screen.
Each device is used differently: one hand on a phone, a remote across the room, a mouse at a desk. We design for each one.
Phone and tablet apps
Screens that follow iOS and Android conventions, so the app feels familiar from the first tap.
Tech used: Figma, Apple and Material design guidelines
TV apps
Layouts built for the remote, with clear focus, large type and simple navigation that reads from the sofa.
Tech used: Figma, tvOS and Android TV guidelines
Web apps and dashboards
Tools that make everyday tasks quick, with tables, forms and settings that stay clear as data grows.

Clickable prototypes
Prototypes you can tap through on a real device, to test ideas before they are built.
Tech used: Figma prototypes
Design systems
Colours, type, components and rules written down, so every new screen matches and developers build it faster.

What good app design needs.
Good design is about what people can do, not just how it looks. These are the things we plan for from the start.
Real tasks first
We design around what people need to get done, then make it look good, not the other way round.
Tested with people
Prototypes are tried by real people doing real tasks, and changed based on what we see.
Accessible
Readable text, good contrast, clear focus and large touch targets, so everyone can use the app.
Right for each device
Phone, tablet, TV and web each get layouts suited to how they are held and used.
Ready to build
Designs come with the states, edge cases and specs developers need, so nothing is guessed later.
Built by the team behind Ohm.
We designed Ohm for the remote first, then for phones, tablets, computers and the web, with one look and one account across all of them. We test our own designs on real devices before we build, and your app gets the same care and the same lessons.
A premium IPTV player for the playlists you already have. Ohm plays your own sources; it never supplies channels.

How much does app design cost?
It depends on the number of screens, the devices you need and how much testing is involved. After a short discovery call we send a fixed-price proposal with the scope written out, so you know the cost before work starts.
Can you design an app that another team will build?
Yes. We hand over the design files, prototype and specs your developers need. We are also happy to answer their questions during the build.
What is a clickable prototype?
It is a set of designed screens linked together so you can tap through the app on a phone, tablet or TV as if it were real. It shows how the app will work before any code is written.
How do you test designs?
We ask a small number of people who match your users to complete real tasks with the prototype, watch where they get stuck, and change the design before building.
Can you redesign an existing app?
Yes. We start by looking at how the app is used today and where people struggle, then design improvements that can be built in stages.
Do you design for TV?
Yes. TV apps need their own design for the remote, the distance and the big screen. We designed Ohm for TV first and apply the same approach to your app.
Do I own the code and designs?
Yes. Once the project is paid in full, you own the code, designs and everything we built for you. We hand over the repositories, store accounts and documentation.
Want to see your app before it is built?
Tell us about your idea and who it is for. We will reply with questions and a fixed-price proposal for the design.
