iPhone app development for iPhone and iPad, from London
We offer iPhone app development from first design to App Store release: native apps in Swift and SwiftUI that feel at home on iPhone and iPad. The same team builds the backend, accounts and payments behind them, and looks after the app once it is live.
Native apps for iPhone and iPad.
We build with Apple’s own tools, so your app follows the platform’s conventions, works with accessibility features and is ready for each new version of iOS.
iPhone apps
Native apps designed for one hand and a small screen, with sign-in, notifications and offline use where the app needs them.
Tech used: Swift, SwiftUI, SwiftData, APNs
iPad apps
Layouts that make use of the larger screen, split view and keyboard and pointer support, not a stretched phone app.
Tech used: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit where needed
Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Free trials, subscriptions and one-off purchases through the App Store, connected to your own accounts so access works everywhere.
Tech used: StoreKit 2, App Store Server Notifications
Video and media
Players that start quickly, resume where people left off and support AirPlay and Picture in Picture.
Tech used: AVKit, AVFoundation
Backend and accounts
The APIs, database and admin tools your app talks to, built by the same team so the two fit together.
Tech used: Python and Django, PostgreSQL
App Store release
Listings, screenshots, privacy details and review notes, with TestFlight builds for you to try before launch.
Tech used: TestFlight, App Store Connect
What a good iPhone app needs.
People expect iPhone apps to feel like they belong on the device. These are the things we plan for from the first design.
Feels like iOS
Familiar navigation, gestures and controls, so people know how to use the app without being told.
Accessible to everyone
Dynamic Type, VoiceOver labels and good contrast, checked on real devices before release.
Fast and reliable
Quick to open, careful with battery and data, and sensible when the connection drops.
App Store ready
Built to Apple’s review guidelines from the start, with privacy details that match what the app collects.
Ready for the next iOS
Kept up to date with each new iOS release and device size, so the app keeps working as Apple moves on.
Built by the team behind Ohm.
Ohm, our own video player, runs on iPhone and iPad alongside TVs and computers, with one account and one backend. We build it, release it through the App Store and support it ourselves, so your iPhone app gets the same care and the same lessons.
A premium IPTV player for the playlists you already have. Ohm plays your own sources; it never supplies channels.

How much does an iPhone app cost?
It depends on the number of screens, whether people sign in and pay, what the backend needs to do and how much design work is involved. After a short discovery call we send a fixed-price proposal with the scope written out, so you know the cost before work starts.
Do you build native apps or cross-platform apps?
We build native iPhone and iPad apps in Swift and SwiftUI. If you also need Android, we build that natively in Kotlin, and both apps share one backend and one account system.
Will my app work on iPad as well?
It can. We agree at the start whether the first version needs its own iPad layout or whether the iPhone layout is enough for now, and design so an iPad version can follow without starting again.
Do you handle App Store submission?
Yes. We prepare the listing, screenshots, privacy details and review notes, submit the app and fix anything the reviewer raises. The app is published under your own Apple developer account.
Can you add subscriptions to an iPhone app?
Yes. We set up subscriptions and in-app purchases with StoreKit and connect them to your backend, so access stays in step if people also use your app on other devices or the web, where Apple’s rules allow.
Can you update an existing iPhone app?
Yes. We start with a code review to understand the app and its risks, then agree a plan to fix, update or extend it, and look after it from there.
Do I own the code and designs?
Yes. Once the project is paid in full, you own the code, designs and everything we built for you. We hand over the repositories, store accounts and documentation.
Planning an iPhone app?
Tell us what the app should do and who it is for. We will reply with questions and a fixed-price proposal.
